A quick word on where this comes from: I am Olga Surmacheva, founder of Ground Level Equine, a PATH Intl. Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning and a Large Animal Massage Practitioner. I have spent more than twenty years alongside horses, in barns, in therapy programs, and in bodywork. Equine Journaling grew out of one hard lesson: a horse is safe on a difficult day only when someone both knows what to look for, and feels safe to say something small. This method is my attempt to make that seeing, and that voice, available to everyone who cares for a horse.
